FYI - a few of the demos were accessed via NX, Google Neatx, and
Virtualbox, which amazingly enough worked somewhat well:

NX would be a good subject of a talk, including neatx and maybe a
comparison of the various server/clients available.  Unfortunately, it
seems like this is something that has never really matured (and neatx
is slowly rusting away).  The obvious competitors are vnc and remote
X11, but both of those have substantial issues.
