[PLUG] One week until CPOSC 2012, still time to get a lightning talk accepted |
Just $35 for a day of open source http://cposc.org/sessions/lightning-talks/ -----Original Message----- From: "Andrew Libby" <alibby@xforty.com> Sent: Thursday, August 9, 2012 1:33pm To: "Philadelphia Linux User's Group Discussion List" <plug@lists.phillylinux.org> Subject: [PLUG] Subject: Second call... talk proposals for CPOSC 2012 Want to speak at CPOSC 2012? You only have about 3 more days to submit a proposal to speak at this year's Central PA Open Source Conference (www.cposc.org) so don't delay! This year's conference will be on Saturday, October 27th, 2012. Details about topics and how it works can be found here: http://www.cposc.org/speaker-faq We are looking for any topic that is related to open source, including software, hardware, databases, administration, development, web tech, and more. Want some ideas? How about Chef, iSCSI, KVM, Cobbler, private clouds with UEC, or Gnome-Shell? Perhaps a talk on using Linux tools to work with Microsoft Windows? Just about anything is fair game. The deadline to submit a proposal (http://cposc.org/speakers/call-for-participation/) is Friday, August 12th, 2012. Hope to hear from you, PS. Please forward this to other Linux/OSS groups as you see fit. :) -- Andrew Libby xforty technologies http://xforty.com alibby@xforty.com 484-887-7505 x 1115 ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
