I started with an android tablet and just got an iPad. I grow more fond of android every day.
That said, either device is a pretty cool toy, workpad, media extension, tv, note taker, web browser, email reader, toilet companion, guitar tuner, news reader, book reader and whatever else.
Depending on your place of business, they can access the network and allow you to work remotely. 

Is that what you were asking?
