Re: [PLUG] Microsoft may be porting Office to Linux


I think it's a good sign. It shows that 1) Microsoft is offering a solution to beat down competing solutions (look into small businesses turning to Google for email and office suite solutions). 2) It shows that there is less fragmentation in the Linux community showing stabilization enough for use in the consumer world. 3) Just maybe this is a sign that Microsoft will want to work on non-x86 machines in the future and is having trouble adapting a bit.
