Re: [PLUG] activesync Was: Need a Groupware/Calendar Recommendation |
BTW, Zimbra appears to Android as an MS Exchange server using Active sync. They just emulate it I guess. Active Sync also syncs the todo lists, but not all android clients work with that. ( My galaxy S3 native todo works, but nothing on the Nexus 7 tablet syncs todo's correctly ) Keyboard shortcuts are available for the Full Zimbra web client: http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Web_Client_Keyboard_Shortcuts https://help.fresnostate.edu/facstaff/collaboration/keyboardshortcuts.php Lee ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Rich Freeman" <r-plug@thefreemanclan.net> > To: "Philadelphia Linux User's Group Discussion List" <plug@lists.phillylinux.org> > Sent: Monday, 1 April, 2013 2:26:49 PM > Subject: Re: [PLUG] activesync Was: Need a Groupware/Calendar Recommendation > > On Mon, Apr 1, 2013 at 2:20 PM, Casey Bralla <MailList@nerdworld.org> > wrote: > > > > BTW, One of the coolest features I liked about Exchange and my > > iPhone was the > > ability to automatically sync my address book and calendar on the > > device. > > > > Is this what we mean by "activesync", which is only available on > > the > > commercial version? > > "Activesync" is an MS term for their synchronization service.
