[PLUG] [OT] IBM wants to be REALLY present in Beijing

Bloomberg News states that IBM "opened a center today for computing systems in Beijing to help customers and outside software engineers develop business applications for the open-source Linux operating system. "

Is this anything for a typical American LInux geek to be worried about? Or could this change the way things go "over there"?
