[PLUG] [plug-announce] PLUG West - Monday May 20, 2013 - Scientific Programming with NumPy and SciPy, presented by Walt Mankowski (7pm at FIS in Malvern)

The Philadelphia Area Linux Users Group (PLUG) cordially invites
you to a PLUG West meeting on Monday, April 15 at FIS in Malvern,
PA from 7-9 pm. See below for directions to the meeting location.

This month PLUG welcomes back Walt Mankowski, who will be giving a
talk about scientific programming with Python, focusing on the use
of the NumPy and SciPy packages. NumPy provides a foundation for
the manipulation of multidimensional arrays, and SciPy provides
modules for many common scientific algorithms and mathematical
tools, from FFTs and signal processing to clustering and image
processing.
