[PLUG] [plug-announce] PLUG West - Mon, Jan 20, 2013 - DIFFERENT LOCATION! "Hacking FOSSCON: An Internet Security Case Study" by Jonathan Simpson (7pm at ATS in Malvern)

The Philadelphia Area Linux Users Group (PLUG) cordially invites you to
a PLUG West meeting on Monday, January 20 at ATS in Malvern, PA from
7-9 pm.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE NOTE: PLUG West is meeting at an alternate location for the January
meeting, as FIS is closed for MLK, Jr. Day. The meeting will be held at the
ATS Group & IBM Innovation Center officers. Please see the end of this
message for directions.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This month, PLUG West will host two short talks:

  Jonathan Simpson on personal Asterisk:

Jonathan Simpson will demonstrate how to set up an Asterisk box for
personal use. The presentation will cover how to direct calls to your
family and friends from a single number, and how to add temporary
    numbers to your phone.

Walt Mankowski on 2D Arrays in C++:

Arrays and pointers are the hardest part about C to learn. And as nasty
as they are, 2-dimensional arrays are even worse. Fortunately, C++ allows
you to encapsulate most of the ugliness in classes. In this talk, Walt
will demonstrate a simple 2D array class.

Interested in Linux, BSD, and Free Software? Whether you're already an
enthusiast or want to learn more, come and join us! PLUG meetings are
free and open to everyone, and anyone who is curious is invited to
attend.

The meeting will be at the ATS Group & IBM Innovation Center in Malvern, PA,
which is NOT our usual meeting location.
