To be fair to Comcast, the outages were caused by the cable to the house being split open like an over-cooked hotdog from age and exposure (they said and I believe them.)  To be really fair to Comcast, they took 6 (or 7) days to discover and fix that - while the house was without connectivity.  They said "oops, sorry."  I said "FiOS ASAP."  I'm reasonably sure my Comcast experience will be better going forward as that was maybe 10 years ago.
