CoreDial has moved to a new office at 751 Arbor Way (still in Blue Bell), about 1/2 mile from the old location. (Note: RSVP is not required this month, as food is not being provided.) ========================================================================== PLUG North will be meeting on Tuesday, October 14 at CoreDial's new offices in Blue Bell, beginning at 6:30 pm. Directions to the meeting location can be found at the end of this email. This month, PLUG North will feature a talk by Irina Cioaca, who will be presenting an introduction to the bitcoin ecosystem: its uses, its potential, current economic and legislative climate, how to get your own bitcoin, the power of open source and how to get involved. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin Bio: Irina is a finance professional with experience working for multiple Fortune 500 companies in the Detroit Area, and deep knowledge in the Real Estate investment space. Having worked on many finance related projects, she knows personally the benefits of integrating bitcoin technology into our society, and has been following it closely since reading the Satoshi white paper. She agrees with Marc Andreesen, who said: "In 20 years, we’ll talk about Bitcoin like we talk about the Internet today". Other crypto related interests are the Ethereum and Stellar projects. She is an avid reader, loves Hapkido, Kick Boxing, and Tough Mudder obstacle course races. Come and talk with other Linux users about Free and Open Source Software! Never been to a meeting before?
