In other news, my laptop dual-boots into Xubuntu or The Redmond Menace
(v7). I had to leave it in v7 for my wife, who was doing taxes on an app
that only works on that OS.
When I rebooted, the login screen was split in half. Rebooted and worked
fine. I suspect the laptop revolted against being in that OS all day.
