[PLUG] Testing yum proxy settings |
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Folks, As part of corporate security, we rotate passwords every 90 days. Our Linux servers are configured to user the Corp proxy and we have an expect script that goes out and twiddles all the right bits. On RedHat, or similar, we execute yum check-update to verify the new proxy settings. I mistakenly thought that an inaccessible proxy would generate an error. It does not. I've read through the man page and related man pages, but have found no suitable command to test yum's proxy settings. Does anyone have any suggestions?
