System Validation Automation Engineer - 761720
This is an Intel Contract Employee position (temporary for up to a 24 month contract engagement), and may be considered for transition to regular full time employment.
The Intel Interconnect Validation Team is looking for a validation automation engineer to facilitate the delivery of the next generation of Intel High Performance Computing (HPC) products. HPC is being used today to help solve some of the world's most challenging scientific needs, including fusion energy, bio-medical research, physics, as well as traditional engineering such as aeronautic and automotive engineering.
In this position, you will be responsible for automating compute cluster validation plans and tests for Intel HPC products. You will be working closely with Intel’s validation engineers as well as development engineers to understand the teat case flow and provide the best possible automation solution. All Intel teams employ lean/agile practices and the person in this position will be part of a scrum team responsible for product software and system release quality.
You
must possess the minimum qualifications listed below to be initially considered
for this position. The preferred qualification section lists additional skills
that will be considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Systems
Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science)
At least 3 to 5 years minimum of relevant experience.
Ability to program in the TCL and Expect scripting languages
Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent debugging/problem solving and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the initiative to work independently as well as with a
team
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work successfully in a multi-site team environment
