Re: [PLUG] Home wifi access point & router recommendation

I recently replaced my ancient WRT54G with an Asus RT-N56U after installing OpenWRT on it. The wifi isn't 100% stable, but wired is and my wired speed tests jumped from ~20 Mbs to ~110 upon replacing the modem and router.

Thanks to yesterday's storm, I may need a new home router (currently a Buffalo running DD-WRT).  Any recommendations on current models of home routers - I'd prefer one running FOSS if possible, DD_WRT, tomato, etc.?  Thank you very much, in advance.
