I just checked mine and I don't have a write count of any sort.  This is on a regular disk though.  Is that only on SSDs?

For total bytes written, there is usually a smart stat for total LBAs
written.  Each one is 512 bytes.  When you think about it, that is a
really small size.

Just this email (without headers) would almost but not quite exactly
fill a disk sector especially if it were padded.
