Re: [PLUG] Cloning a dying hard drive

Just to follow up, I burned a CD with SystemRestoreCD and ran ddrescue
off of that overnight. It only reported about 800 KB of errors. I
guess it must have repaired the errors, because when I ran fdisk on
all the partitions on the new drive it didn't report any errors. So I
removed the old drive and booted off the new cloned drive.

It's been up for about 5 hours now. I don't see any errors, and
everything appears to be back to normal.

Thanks to everyone who offered advice and encouragement last night!

Walt
