I also graduated from "Arch seems nice" to "I use Arch" with help from Evo/Architect, and also Antergos. I highly recommend using a crutch while you learn to walk, and Architect is about as passively helpful as can be, while still making failure difficult to achieve.

After several failed attempts at installing Arch, I did it twice successfully with Evo/Lution.

The handbook is reasonable enough. There are a few things I'd
improve, and probably should. :) But, you'll do fine with the
handbook.
