[PLUG] XKCD: Team Chat

I read the comic, and it gave me a chuckle but also made me wonder what 
Slack was and why I hadn't heard of it.  So I did a quick search and 
poked around on their website for a couple of minutes.

Basically, it's a way to get you to turn over all your company's 
internal communications and data to the people behind the Slack site?

(Privacy issues aside:  is it that great?  How is it better than some 
combination of chat + email?)
