but do lets not fall into the erroneous belief that Linux is
impenetrable. I think we've all just seen how a root exploit can live
in the kernel for years undetected.

Everything is vulnerable if it can be connected to remotely (and
sometimes even if not [stuxnet anyone?])

Any boasting or slamming of the other guy must be accompanied with a
vigorous knocking on wood.
