I have one of the SDR sticks too but I haven't use it that much. I don't even have that in my bag since I'm not sure I want to include a small netbook. Its already a good weight.

I've become more interested in HF work these days but there definitely some for everyone.

That would be very cool. I am also a ham. I'm not terribly active on the bands. I do a fair amount of listening and a little SDR foolishness with the RTL-SDR sticks. Very cool though.
