Re: [PLUG] PCI Card Bracket Dimensions Needed |
I'm in the process of designing my own "open air" PC case. One of the things I'm having trouble with is finding the relationship between the motherboard PCI slots and the hold-down screw on the bracket of a PCI card.
I've found dimensions for the mounting holes for an ATX motherboard (http://www.formfactors.org/
developer%5Cspecs%5Catx2_2.pdf ) which also shows the locations of the PCI slots. I can also find overall dimensions of the PCI card (http://www.interfacebus.com/PCI_Card_Dimensions.html ) and for the bracket itself (http://www.bracket.com/downloads/brackets/pdf/ ) However, I CANNOT find the dimensions showing how the rear bracket relates to the PCI card.94560000A.pdf
I need to know where to place the screw hole that will fasten the PCI card in place, but without the relationship between the PCI slot and the bracket, I'm lost.
I could always simply measure a few cards, but this would be subject to my measurement error, and I'd like to be able to work from the actual specifications.
Anybody know of a source for PCI card dimensions that also includes the rear bracket? TIA!
