[PLUG] Bluetooth mouse without USB Dongle

My new work laptop (HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G3) has a touchpad, but uhhhg. Would be nice if someone spent more time thinking about the users experience than about 2-3-4 finger variations on sending more commands. Keep hitting the thing while typing. Since I was at the end of a long email the second time, I'm convinced I must have accidentally sent the "erase the entire email for no apparent reason" command sequence.

The laptop has only two usb ports. Dont want to use up a port with a USB dongle. I'm looking at bluetooth mice online, without dongle, but have never owned one. 

Anyone have experience / recommendation / warnings?
