Re: [PLUG] Ubuntu on Chromebook |
If it's an arm Chromebook, run arch linux arm on it. I can't say Ubuntu on arm will have as pleasant of an experience. Other than that, check the hardware. I recommend a USB drive like a SanDisk Cruzer fit and dual boot the Chromebook since ChromeOS has some wonderful uses.-Will C___________________________________________________________________________On Tue, Jul 17, 2018, 12:18 Paul Walker <starsinmypockets@gmail.com> wrote:___________________________________________________________________________I want to get a new chromebook and install Ubuntu on it. Is this a terrible idea? Curious if folks have tried this. Also maybe there is a comparable low-cost computer that can run Ubuntu and connect to the internet? I would love it if it was < $200 but maybe this is not realistic.
