Re: [PLUG] How to get rid of 'Safe Mode' in Firefox?

On my version of Firefox it is :
  • Preferences
    • Scroll to the bottom to "Security"
      • Block dangerous and deceptive content (which is all about phishing)

Assembled Wisdom!

A couple of days ago I was suddenly barred by my Firefox(Mozilla Firefox 52.9.0) from
some previously visited web sites, because "Safe Mode is on". I know nothing
about this, and would like to turn 'Safe Mode' off. I have googled for info on
this, but get mostly answers from people running Windoze. My Firefox, which I
start up each morning after booting, is running on my Debian jessie(old, I know)

I hope some knowledgeable person will let me know how to perform what has to be
a simple task.

TIA,
