Re: [PLUG] OT: seeking career advice

The PA careerlink site offers a free resume workshop if you aren't currently working and you have time to use their services.  I used it and although they aren't tech oriented, they have some tips to fix your resume so it doesn't get rejected by bots when applying for things online.  I found it useful.

You could post to the list your resume. I did, and I got feedback. Resumes apparently are very important.  I've never used one. At the moment I can't get to HR, or if I do it doesn't really reflect what I can do, leaving it rejected. I can't even get to the interview step. Like i said, I would post the resume here asking for feedback. You will get it.

Subject: [PLUG] OT: seeking career advice

I'm looking for a new developer or DevOps job, but I suspect that my
resume is either not interesting or too confusing for recruiters.

Can any of you refer me to someone who can tell me where I'm messing up
and how to solve those issues?
