In the 2000's I debated a Microsoft Evangelist on behalf of PLUG.
"Windows vs Linux" or "Linux vs Windows" - I forget what it was called.

It was in a lecure hall at Drexel.
To narrow the timeframe - we were talking about Windows 98!

They had ZERO inclination to work with Linux. It was win/lose.

I got at least one zinger in.

He talked about how easy Windows was to install.

I said (paraphrased):

I agree and it's a good thing! I've had to reinstall it a dozen times at least. BAM!
