The bad news: it's a mess. The new ssd went on a territorial acquisition mission, somehow involving itself in the boot process.
The good news: no data loss.
The Bad news: Evil ssd somehow managed to swap partitions with Good ssd. We are not amused, as well as flummoxed. Perhaps i should take up drinking and drugs, as the effects are already here, minus the hangover.
Also the Bad news: can't rescue. Looks like a new install is warranted. Will think on it. Do priests do exorcisms on ssd's or the computer in general? Does it matter if the computer isn't Catholic?
How bout those new NVM drives? Blazing fast and cheap.
