Re: [PLUG] Recording of last night's meeting? |
Hi. Sorry if this was a no-no. Last time Jon had hoped it was recorded but nobody did. So I thought it was a good chance to try it out. It turns out, it had to go in my DropBox. So I missed a few minutes at the beginning setting it up. Then it cut off after an hour but I started it again fairly quickly. I was doing it for my personal use, but if Jon does not mind I can make it available. The files are in MP4 format. I haven't really looked at them much yet other than to see that it worked.___________________________________________________________________________

Hi, Thanks to Jon for his great talk last night, and to everyone who attended. Did someone record his talk? I saw popups at the beginning and end. I thought it was Jon, but he says it wasn't him. Details are at the bottom of the email. Last month, Jonathan Simpson gave a talk at PLUG North on running Asterisk at home. This month, PLUG welcomes back Jonathan, who will be giving a talk entitled "Who needs a home phone, anyway? A manual asterisk setup for home use." Last month, we took a look at using freePBX to setup a home phone system based on asterisk. Now we'll go slightly deeper and learn how to setup some of the same features using just asterisk configuration files and dialplan code, to see how it all works inside! We'll be using Jitsi Meet, a free and open source videoconferencing platform, for the meeting. The meeting will start at 7 PM. The talk will start at 7:15. Q&A and general chat will follow the talk. You can access the meeting online at https://meet.jit.si/PLUGNorthDecember2020 Jitsi Meet also has apps for iOS and Android. If you decide to use one of those apps, use meeting code "PLUGNorthDecember2020"._______________________________________________ plug-announce mailing list plug-announce@lists.phillylinux.org http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug_______________________________________________ plug-announce mailing list plug-announce@lists.phillylinux.org http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
