Re: [PLUG] Recording of last night's meeting?

I don't mind at all.

Here is the dialplan code for last nights demos
https://gist.github.com/jsimpsoncd/1f4454614ad4b437e1a6a835b9ee9c19
and here are the slides (note, last night starts at slide 29.)

Updates to slides may follow for clarity and usefulness  :)

Hi. Sorry if this was a no-no. Last time Jon had hoped it was recorded but nobody did. So I thought it was a good chance to try it out. It turns out, it had to go in my DropBox. So I missed a few minutes at the beginning setting it up. Then it cut off after an hour but I started it again fairly quickly. I was doing it for my personal use, but if Jon does not mind I can make it available. The files are in MP4 format. I haven't really looked at them much yet other than to see that it worked.

Hi,

Thanks to Jon for his great talk last night, and to everyone who
attended.

Did someone record his talk? I saw popups at the beginning and end. I
thought it was Jon, but he says it wasn't him.

PLUG North will be meeting on Tuesday, December 8, beginning at
7pm. The meeting will be online. Details are at the bottom of the email.

Last month, Jonathan Simpson gave a talk at PLUG North on running
Asterisk at home. This month, PLUG welcomes back Jonathan, who will
be giving a talk entitled "Who needs a home phone, anyway? A manual
asterisk setup for home use."

Last month, we took a look at using freePBX to setup a home phone
system based on asterisk. Now we'll go slightly deeper and learn how
to setup some of the same features using just asterisk configuration
files and dialplan code, to see how it all works inside!

We'll be using Jitsi Meet, a free and open source videoconferencing
platform, for the meeting. The meeting will start at 7 PM. The talk will
start at 7:15. Q&A and general chat will follow the talk.

You can access the meeting online at

https://meet.jit.si/PLUGNorthDecember2020

Jitsi Meet also has apps for iOS and Android. If you decide to
use one of those apps, use meeting code "PLUGNorthDecember2020".
