I'd add Inscape and LyX to the list, but I don't know what their Windows equivalents are. I've recently discovered a Linux program called QOwnNote that promises to be very useful in many different tasks. My one caution about the list is that Microsoft Office is much, much MUCH better than LibreOffice. I've used them both, a lot. In various edge cases of use, LibreOffice loses its definition of its styles, rendering it almost useless for writing long documents or doing presentations. Linux alternatives to LibreOffice Presenter include LaTeX plus Beamer, and perhaps Markdown->HTML, or substitute asciidoc or other simple markup languages for Markdown. Alternatives to the LibreOffice word processor include LyX. As far as spreadsheets, I use Gnumeric, not the LibreOffice spreadsheet, and I can read and save Excel spreadsheets as long as they don't have Excel-specific things (like a Basic interpreter). Once again, I suggest you try QOwnNote. It can be pretty handy in a lot of situations.
