I think you mean "seamless mode": https://docs.oracle.com/en/virtualization/virtualbox/6.0/user/seamlesswindows.html The limitation is that, when looking at a window like that, your keystrokes are swallowed and they may not work as-expected. For example, alt-tab cycles within that guest only, and is not global. So alt-tab will cycle through guest1 guest2 etc windows and entirely miss your host1 host2 windows. Depending on a setup, a user has to tap alt once, then alt-tab will be global through the host windows.
