Good news: I can now boot into either Win 10 or Ubuntu. Bad news: I can only do so via my PC's boot menu + selecting either Windows or Ubuntu. Soooooooooooooooo... how to change my GRUB2 settings so that it properly handles both options? Or, for that matter, to change Windows 10's Boot Mangler settings. I ask b/c none of the "easy" options work- update-grub doesn't work, nor do any of the programs to edit Boot Mangler settings.
I do not know about Ubuntu but on RedHat systems if you load the ntfs modules and then re-run the grub config thing, it will detect the win 10 OS without any modifications to the GRUB2 config. I cannot remember if I had to reboot and then re-run the GRUB2 config or if installing the packages was sufficient. Might be worth a shot. :-) Regards, -- Tom me@tdiehl.org ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
