Yeah, I have a dedicated Windows machine for games.

Even if those games would run under Linux (natively or wine) and I
trusted the game itself I couldn't allow them. Too many concerns
about DRM, third-party libraries used by the game, possible supply
chain attacks (badly designed update mechanisms), update monsters like
Steam, Gog launcher, Epic launcher and so on.

Out of curiosity I try some of my favorite games in Wine every now and
then. I would describe Wine as impressively capable but still on
average unsatisfactory. The only game I regularly run on Linux is
TacOps4.

The Windows gaming machine has PXE Linux and FreeBSD installs so that
I can use the speedy CPU for some software build things, or the GPU
for molecular dynamics calculations in Amber.
