Hi all,
I'm running a stock Ubuntu 20.04 with the default desktop. On my desktop is a symlink to a spreadsheet that's on a network share. Work makes us periodically change our passwords, and yesterday was my lucky day.
]Now the link has a red circle with an X in it. I thought that was because I needed to log back into the share. I've done that. Now the actual symlink works fine, but on the desktop the icon still has the X and doesn't open the spreadsheet. I don't see any obvious way in the UI to tell it to retry.
I'm sure I could delete it and recreate it and it would be fine. I also feel confident that it will be fixed the next time I reboot. But seems like there must be some way to fix this short of doing that. Is this a bug, or am I missing something obvious?
Walt
