Thank you for letting us know, Walt. When you sent the message on
Wednesday I was able to get a message to him and I'm grateful for
that.

As I'm still in shock a bit it's hard to come up with words right now
to express how influential he was to my life and career. I know many
of us also have stories about his support and commitment to open
source and our community.

I won't be in town until December 15th so I won't make this
celebration of life today, but I do hope to share stories about his
life another time.
