RE: [PLUG] CMS, revisited
|
I vote for Geeklog...
http://www.geeklog.net/
I recently looked at a few CMS/weblog offerings with the same PHP/MySQL
desire in mind. After trying Mambo and a couple of the Nukes, I settled
on Geeklog, mostly because it appeared the least buggy and is easy to
customize.
I needed to make some changes to customize the user registration and
authentication to do some fancy stuff for a commercial customer facing
extranet site. I found the PHP code in Geeklog to be fairly easy to
follow and was able to make it do what I needed with out too much fuss.
The fact that http://groklaw.net runs on Geeklog may have also
influenced me. At least you know it scales!
Hope that helps...
