Martin, +1 , once systemd because the default, I enabled rc.local as needed. The netplan vs /etc/network/interface switch has been interesting. On some newer systems I do have some netplan configs but I've also noticed that doing release upgrades to the next LTS, so far, all my pre-netplan configs have continued to work. Not sure why that is (or care for now since I don't fix things that aren't broke) but I'm guessing at some point, I'll have to convert those. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Keith C. Perry, MS E.E.
