Re: May Meeting |
Scalaz is a little lacking in high-level documentation in my opinion. That's party intentionally since some people feel like type signatures *are* the documentation so words are usually superfluous. That said, here's some good stuff: http://debasishg.blogspot.com/2010/11/exploring-scalaz.html http://debasishg.blogspot.com/2010/12/composable-domain-models-using-scalaz.html http://debasishg.blogspot.com/2010/12/monads-applicative-functors-and.html http://debasishg.blogspot.com/2011/07/monad-transformers-in-scala.html http://debasishg.blogspot.com/2010/12/case-study-of-cleaner-composition-of.html https://github.com/scalaz/scalaz/tree/master/example/src/main/scala/scalaz/example http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2010/06/14/on-monoids/ http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/more-on-monoids-and-monads/ http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2010/10/17/scalaz-tutorial-enumeration-based-io-with-iteratees/ http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2011/03/20/towards-an-effect-system-in-scala-part-1/ http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/towards-an-effect-system-in-scala-part-2-io-monad/ http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2011/01/10/functional-programming-for-beginners/ http://apocalisp.wordpress.com/2012/02/26/scalaz-functional-programming-in-scala/ https://gist.github.com/1712108 https://github.com/jrwest/learn_you_a_scalaz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYo0gANYViE http://www.scala-blogs.org/2010/03/scalaz-introductory-talks.html Awesome for the underlying ideas (in Haskell): http://learnyouahaskell.com/ I'll add more if I find more.
