I've got a Perl/Tk app that can currently open a local mdb file, connect to MySQL, and transfer tables from the mdb file to the mysql database (structure and records). I'd like to also have the ability to go the other way. This app is designed to make the maintenence of the MySQL database easier for [non developer] end users. Is it possible to initiate the creation of a blank/empty mdb file through DBD::ODBC? I suppose I should also ask the question: is it possible to create tables in an mdb file using DBD::ODBC or someting similar? Has anyone had any expereince doing someting similar?
