PLUG Meeting

Philadelphia Linux Users Group

                        PLUG

TOPIC: In October's issue of Scientific American
	http://www.sciam.com there is a
special report about Computer Security with a very
good article by Phil Zimmermann on Cryptography. Also
there is an article about the US export laws of
cryptography software. There is a growing interest
in the non Linux community about computer security and
	the Y2K problem.

This month we will be discussing security, firewalls
and general security measures including shadow passwords.

Of course bring all of your concerns and problems with
you and we will be glad to help.
