Your best bet is to visit xfree's web site and see what they're 
supporting. Also, metrox and accelx are options. Some freinds of 
mine are using a matrox G200 and an Nvidia TNT. Both of them are
quite fast and happy. There's something about a 32bit 1600x1200 
desktop in X.... :)
