Jerry,

As your LINUX install boots up, see if it recognizes the board. You will see
a boot message for both the SCSI controller and the devices attached to it
if it does.

Under the Caldera Redhat release, the kernel does not autodetect Adaptec
SCSI by default. You can load the module or recompile the kernel.
Personally, I like having it in the kernel.

If you are installing and having trouble, you can append the module to the
boot command if you are using LILO as your boot loader. I will try to find
out the correct syntax. Someone
out there might know it off hand. If you are already in LISA, you can load
the module
in LISA.
