Hi Kyle,

Have you attempted to compile the driver as an integral part of the
kernel and not as a module?  In some cases there is an auto detection
mechanism that only works if the driver is compiled not as a module. 
Otherwise, you might have to load parameters to the module to get it to
load and recognize your hardware.
