Ok, situation: I have diald constantly running (yea it works!) I have samba on (yea it works!) When trying to connect to the other machine on my local network diald comes up. (Boo! That sucks) I've added ignores for all tcp and udp connections from netbios ports in the diald filters. That doesn't seem to keep samba from bringing up my ppp link. Any suggestions? <-/etc/services -> netbios-ns 137/tcp netbios-ns 137/udp netbios-dgm 138/tcp netbios-dgm 138/udp netbios-ssn 139/tcp netbios-ssn 139/udp <- /etc/services-> <-/usr/lib/diald/standard.filter -> ignore tcp tcp.dest=tcp.netbios-ns ignore tcp tcp.dest=tcp.netbios-dgm ignore tcp tcp.dest=tcp.netbios-ssn ignore tcp tcp.source=tcp.netbios-ns ignore tcp tcp.source=tcp.netbios-dgm ignore tcp tcp.source=tcp.netbios-ssn ignore udp udp.dest=udp.netbios-ssn ignore udp udp.dest=udp.netbios-dgm ignore udp udp.dest=udp.netbios-ns ignore udp udp.source=udp.netbios-ssn ignore udp udp.source=udp.netbios-dgm ignore udp udp.source=udp.netbios-ns <- /usr/lib/diald/standard.filter -> Am i using the wrong ports? What ports does samba use? Does samba not use tcp/udp? Does samba not use netbios?
