Hi folks, This *should* be easy, but.... I have a Wind98 laptop I need to get Linux installed on. I've read the docs for FIPS and I'm ready to shrink my Wind 98 partition to make room, but for one detail. FIPS requires that the data all be at the beginning of the partition, so when it truncates the end nothing gets clobbered. But Wind98's defrag utility puts data at both ends during the optimization process. What I need is a defrag util that will work like the older DOS defrag, but can deal with my FAT32 partition. Any recommendations? Unfortunately, I can't just get rid of the offending partition at this time, though I know that's the best solution :-} Thanks in advance.
