I tried out wireless novatel CDPD modem about a year ago. Wireless service
from bell atlantic (http://www.bam.com/wireless/internet1.htm). Didnt like
it... the idea of telneting into your linux box wirelessly with a palmIII
is cool but it is cumbersome. telnet is not a good application to use for
garfitti. the modem is bigger than the PalmII itself and awkard in my
pocket. Now if they shrink and integrated the modem like the PalmVII, it
would be great but the palmVII is not direct internet connection... i
think its more like a pager and you'll have to use some proprietary
service from 3com.
