[Plug] Samba Issues

I have samba up and running from my main box (SuSE 6.2, 2.2.10 kernel, P-II
300, 256 MB RAM, 3COM 3c595 10/100 Ethernet Card) and can SMBMOUNT the
shares on my NT box. I access the MP3's and play them without issue.

The issue presents itself this way: if I smbmount a share to
/net/nt/d_share and leave it inactive for an hour or so, when I return to
it, the link is dead, cannot LS the directory because I recieve an error,
and have to exit KDE to umount the drive (it shows it as busy and
unmountable). This would be after embmounting all the drives, then loading
kde...

If I am playing MP3's from the drive continuously, the link does not die.

If I have 2 shares mounted one for mp3's, one for the admin disk, and play
the mp3's, then the MP3 share stays linked properly and I can access it, but
the other share dies.

Any ideas why this might be or what I can do to fix it?
