Re: [Plug] ran out of man sources on rdate...

Running timed on the "master" machine didn't help. I still get "connection
refused". All I want to do is get the date from other machines using rdate.
The command should be: rdate -p hostname
(I can successfully get the date by using: rsh -l root hostname date, so I
know that they are communicating.)
Any ideas? Thanks.

I think this means that the time daemon isn't runnign on the remote
machine you're trying to get the time from.
Try running rdate against a box where you know the time (or which
ever one rdate trys to talk to) daemon is running.
