I was part way through a perscript to do this (had generated the names of
all the devices, and was starting to look into mknod) when I decided to
have a look at the /dev/MAKEDEV script.
It looks like running
/dev/MAKEDEV pty
Will recreate all your /dev/tty##'s & /dev/pty##'s.
Tom: I can't wait to hear what happens when you try this stuff.
