[Plug] Detecting CDRom at boot

Hi, just got a new toy for Christmas, Maxtor 20.0 GB hard drive for my
old Compaq Prolinea 575 (p133 ram:48mb). I finally got Windows
installed, but when trying to install fresh Red Hat Linux(v 5.1), it
can't find my cdrom (Hitachi CDR - 790(?)). I know it is supported
because I used with my old setup. I tried to add "linux hdc=cdrom" to
the boot option before install but I only got an error stating
"unrecognized option". Any clues?
