That is a good point. I was referring to messyness in terms of it being a
mutt of other languages, but there is the issue of obfuscation. I personally
have taken great delight in finding ways to do things in perhaps one line
that would ordinarily have taken many many lines. Perl can be extremely
concise and to the point.
